The Irish Texel Society is delighted to announce the New Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Society.
The New Chairman with immediate effect, is Willie Doherty of the Hillcrest flock from Donegal. Following on from his Chairmanship of the Donegal Region. Willie brings a wealth of experience to the role through running his own business, farming and having previously served on council.
Willie is delighted to step into the role of Irelands leading sheep society and aims to drive to society forward with the great members and sheep that we have.
The Vice Chairman also hails from Donegal, Ryan Greene of the Culdaff flock. Ryan also brings a wealth of experience having been breeding texels since a child. Ryan has been a major supporter of young breeders and aims to drive the strong youth culture forward within the society.
