The South East Region is delighted to announce that they are holding the their annual open day in conjunction with South East Main Show and will once again be one of the Texel highlights of the year for the region. With the kind permission of the Dillon family it is being hosted on their farm in New Ross Co Wexford. This fantastic event will be held on the 13th July 2:00 pm in the world class facilities which needs to be seen to be appreciated. This is sure to be even bigger and better than last year!
We are delighted that the Judge on the day will the owner of the renowned Ravensdale flock John Wehrly. He will have excellent line up of Texels on the day through the 7 classes in total on the day before he gets to the final business of picking the Champions of the day.
The event will also host industry talks from Irish Country Meats and demonstrations of how to prepare sheep for shows and sales.
All is welcome and with no admission fee with complimentary refreshments on the day.
