The society is delighted to announce the region of the year for 2023. This award recognises a region that went above an beyond over the year to promote the breed where possible.
It’s was unanimous decision for the North East region to awarded the title for 2023 for the exceptional effort put into the Second Premier Sale and their promotion of their regional inlamb sale.
It wasn’t isolated to this it was noted the great moral and team sprit at the local shows that shows benefits of being a Texel breeder. It’s not just the sheep set’s us apart from the other breeds it’s the breeders too.
Well Done to the North East and we look forward to see what region sets the bar this year.
